Bath property market figures – March 2016

Now we’re properly into the year and with Easter fast approaching, I thought it would be about time to compare our January 2016 figures with the most recent data. I have added a new section to the figures as well – average selling times by price bracket – which gives some very interesting info on the market sectors moving fastest at present.

As a quick summary, the below figures (March 1st compared with January 30th)  show a 5 – 9% drop in overall property supply (both total on market AND new instructions in the last fortnight). I also note a significant improvement in selling times (10% more properties staying on the market for less than 8 weeks) and the inevitable price increases driven by the above factors.
