September Bath property market data

September is upon us with its usual variable weather, the kids are back to school, the holiday suitcases are back under the bed and we’re teetering on the brink of the autumn selling season in the Bath property market but what variables have changed in the latest Bath property data?

In this months report, I’ve compared against the last 6 months, with figures from four dates (today and our reports from July, May and March) to give a wider insight into trends and patterns.

As always, I’ll leave the reader to make their own judgements from the full report below but note with interest the increase in supply levels (but not recent new instructions), time on market, selling times and the shift in availability below 300k. You might also find a potential factor in these shifts highlighted in our #Bathpropertyfacts section

  • September is the only month with the same number of letters in its name as the number of the month
  • The Anglo-Saxons called September Gerst Monath (Barley Month) or Haefest Monath (Harvest Month) celebrating the barley harvest.
