Bath property market update – July 2019

Glastonbury is over for another year (this time without the traditional mud) and we’re right in the middle of the summer market with school holidays fast approaching. If you’re wondering how the local market is performing in the sunshine, we’ve collected lots of data below for you to peruse.

Quick headlines

Supply levels are rising, as expected for this time of year. Selling times however continue to reduce after a first quarter peak.

Flats and detached are selling slower than terraces and semis by 20 days and 50 days respectively

The median asking price of Bath homes is now £410,000

Median asking prices for all types of property rose year on year by between 1% and 6% barring flats (which show a 3% decrease on their asking prices)
