The first floor layout can be re-arranged (subject to necessary permissions) to create a third bedroom from the current study - likely via access from the current shower room.

Originally constructed c1800 - 1810 as the coachhouse and coachmans accommodation for the townhouse at No10 Lambridge (or No10 London Road as it was addressed at the time) and comprehensively refurbished in 1995. The property is Grade II listed for special architectural interest.

No10 Lambridge was home in the early 1800s until 1861 to Captain (eventually Lieutenant-Colonel) Graham Henry who served with distinction in the Peninsular War under Field Marshal Wellington. Born in Westmeath, Ireland and originally serving in the 36th Foot, Captain Henry was seconded to the 14th Portuguese Infantry regiment for the sieges of Ciudad Rodrigo and Badajoz. After the war, he then served with the 2nd Portuguese Infantry before rising to command of the 69th Foot.

The development and growth of Larkhall village took off between 1840 and 1860, centred on the Larkhall Inn (established in 1784 and previously the Manor House - its location on the old Gloucester Rd made it an important staging post for the mail coaches). In 1832, a mineral water spring was discovered in the village and Mr Blackwin built the Larkhall Spa in 1834 - it was in use up to 1930 when the spring finally dried up.

Present day Larkhall offers a lovely variety of local amenities including a fabulous deli as well as supermarket, grocers, butchers and cafes.
